Who We Are
Path-Now is a new creative, accessible and unique mobile application that enables individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to safely and easily connect with community service providers electronically in California. Path-Now.com was the vision of the CEO of Adjoin, a 501(c)3 organization, who saw a critical need for there to be an interactive statewide system directory of all community service providers for individuals with IDD to access needed services. Power by Adjoin, the development of Path-Now.com began in 2022 and is set to launch publicly in 2023.
What We Do
Our mission is to provide an electronic path for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and service providers to be matched and connected throughout California. Our vision is to ensure every individual in California with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) can easily, safely, and quickly connect to custom matched service providers.
How It Works
Path-Now provides individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), a family member, or a care provider, to create a free profile where the individual can answer questions related to types of service needs, preferences regarding the service or services searching for as well as preferred organization characteristics. Then, with the click of a button, individuals can instantly see organization profiles listed in order of percentage of match to individual’s profile responses and read about each potential service provider. Individuals can then choose to connect with organizations by clicking the connect button for that organization. If the organization has a subscription, once the organization accepts the connection request, the individual can chat directly with the organization within Path-Now. If the organization does not have a subscription, individual will receive a notification to contact organization using contact information in the organization’s profile.
Organizations who provide services for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in California can claim their profile in Path-Now or request to have a profile created. Once requests are received, reviewed and approved by Path-Now, organizations can choose a subscription plan, and based upon the subscription plan chosen, will be able to review and update information in basic fields up to all fields, including uploading photos and video, as well as have access to the Path-Now chat feature.
